I started DART because I know exactly what it feels like to be standing at the edge of a big decision, trying to take that first step toward treatment. I’ve been in that moment myself; unsure, overwhelmed, and not totally sure how to get from where I was to where I needed to be. Having someone who understands, someone who’s walked the same road, can make that moment feel a little less scary. That’s why I created DART.
Built by People Who’ve Been There
DART was founded by individuals in long term recovery who understand how overwhelming the first step toward treatment can feel. We’ve lived it. We know the fear, the hesitation, and the courage it takes to ask for help- and we built DART to make that moment safer, calmer, and more private.
Our mission is simple:
Provide discreet, compassionate transport to detox and treatment centers, guided by lived experience and genuine care.
We’re not a ride share.
We’re not a medical transport service.
We’re people who understand recovery, offering support during one of the most vulnerable moments in someone’s life.
With unmarked vehicles, local drivers, and a boutique, one‑client‑at‑a‑time approach, DART brings dignity and humanity back into the process of getting help.
